The Elsan Group will now be able to use Incepto’s medical imaging solutions. The latter has just made official an agreement between the two parties. This agreement was sealed shortly after the start-up completed its second round of financing. This is to support its expansion on the Old Continent in order to establish its dominance in its sector of activity.
Incepto announced on September 19, 2022 that it had completed a $27 million fundraising. This transaction, to which Wille Finance contributed, was led by LBO france. However, it also includes the historical investors AXA Venture Partners (AVP), the medtech Karista and Autonomous Patient. The company will use this financing to expand its european expansion, particularly in Portugal, Italy, Spain and Germany . It plans to roll out its offering in these countries.

A collaboration with Elsan has been announce
Incepto announced in parallel to the announcement of this round of financing the conclusion of five new cooperations. The company will now also collaborate with Thirona, SmartSoft, PAIRE, Milvue and IB Lab . These partnerships will enrich its application offering:

- In pulmonology, rheumatology, orthopedics, oncology and emergency management ;

- In medical imaging.
By broadening its geographic reach and expanding its catalog of applications, Incepto is addressing three major public health issues . These are :

- Supporting physicians’ work in the face of increasing information to be studied ;

- Addressing the lack of specialists for certain serious conditions ;

- Decreased wait time for testing
The young company is improving the care of patients in various disciplines:

After closing its second round of financing, Incepto also announced a new partnership on October 3. The start-up has won over Elsan, a private hospital group based in Paris. Antoine Jomier, its boss, was pleased:

The start-up represents a real trusted third party
For the medtech this alliance represents a decisive phase. To date, about 100,000 patients per month are using its applications. The CEO explains that they now aim to reach one million monthly users by 2024 . Each year, the Elsan group covers some 2.2 million patients.
As part of this cooperation, Incepto will offer its 19 medical imaging solutions to Elsan and its :

- 48 imaging centers ;

- 137 facilities.
The director of innovation at the hospitalization group, Dorothée Moisy, said:
We will inform Incepto about our needs so that it can be as relevant as possible in its product roadmap.
According to her, Elsan chose medtech, notwithstanding the plurality of companies specializing in artificial intelligence applied to medical imaging. For reason, explained the manager, the start-up has the specificity to provide a portfolio of pre-selected applications . It claims that it is a true trusted third party:

Incepto carefully examines each algorithm before incorporating it into its catalog. The study covers both the legal and technical aspects (data storage, hosting, etc.) . Its CEO also maintains that the financial health of the company is also scrutinized. The goal is to offer turnkey software that users can rely on.
